Sourcebook: Kids Sleepovers
February 13, 2016
Some of my friends with kids have already begun stocking up on great comforters and sleeping bags for all of the sleepovers that have started to become a regular occurence in their homes. My kids are a little young for sleepovers – so far it’s just been Tanner and his Godsister Franny – but I’m always on the lookout for cute things that we can use when time comes. Here are some of my favorites thus far:
Sleeping bags
L. L. Bean is such a classic, and they have the best flannel-lined sleeping bags, and adorable flannel pillows to go with. For a different look, I also recently discovered these great kids’ sleeping bags on Etsy for both boys and girls. I especially love the floral ones for the little ladies.
HEDGEHOUSE & Cowboy Bed Roll
I first discovered HEDGEHOUSE Throw Beds at one of my new favorite stores in LA, Garde. Later on, my friend Lauren Soloff introduced me to Beta, who designs and makes them, and we started selling them in my Brentwood store. They are gorgeous, well made, and great to have around the house. I keep them in our Tahoe house to lay on at the beach or on the lawn, but I especially love them for sleepovers. They make the perfect cozy mattress or warm duvet for the little ones.
Another great option are these denim Cowboy Bed Rolls that I recently discovered on Remodelista. They are the most gorgeous denim sleeping bags that roll up into a chic leather strap. XXJKE
