Handmade for the Home: LSA International

I’m always on the hunt for decor that is refined and classic yet unique enough to add an element of interest to my home. I first discovered LSA International when I was traveling in Paris a few years ago, and I was immediately drawn to their simple, clean and practical aesthetic. The line was conceived by creative director Monika Lubkowska-Jonas, who designs 250 new products each year. Many feature glass that is mouth-blown in Poland, using age-old techniques.

Despite the heritage that goes into making the products, LSA has a very modern sensibility thanks to the sleek design, natural wood and leather detailing. It can be challenging to find a beautiful way to do a crudite platter, but the Ivalo Dome & Ash Base makes it easy and instantly elegant. Likewise, the Lotta Cake/Cheese Dome elevates anything you place inside, whether it’s a cake, fruit, veggies or cheese.
